Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services - December 2007
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

International Dog Academy, a division of Hanrob Pty Ltd, have been contracted to provide national training services for the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services (AQIS) detector dogs and handlers since 1995. Full tender processes for training were undertaken by AQIS in 2001 and 2005 and Hanrob were successful in being awarded training contracts through both processes.

Hanrob have trained in excess of 80 handlers and 150 dogs during the period of their relationship with AQIS. Many of these teams are still operating successfully in Australian international airports, mail centres and air courier depots screening passengers, mail articles and cargo for items of interest to AQIS.

Hanrob provide a responsive and professional service in the training of active and passive response dogs and handlers.

Quarantine Tasmania - June 2005
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Hanrob Pet Care Centre, International Training Academy of 1800-1838 Princes Highway, Heathcote, NSW have been providing Quarantine Detector Dogs and the associated training for Quarantine Tasmania in excess of ten years.

During that period, the quality of professional services has been of a very high standard. The dogs provided by the Academy have been extremely well trained and protocoled and they have performed very efficiently and effectively at both the quarantine barrier and in post barrier locations.

The training programs conducted to bring the dogs and handlers together as a ‘team’ have been well developed and professionally implemented. The teams that participate in the Academy’s are readily identified in the field by their presentation, professionalism and effectiveness.

Tasmania has Quarantine Detector Dogs Teams operating at all points of entry into the state. All of the teams that have participated in the Hanrob International Training Academy program.

The Academy also provides refresher training and skills development for the Tasmanian teams.

We would highly recommend the services of the academy.

The Hon. Dale Vale - June 2005
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I wish to advise that International Dog Academy has been operating their business in my electorate for the past 25 years. They have the highest degree of professionalism and integrity in the Dog Training Industry and the dog owning public in general..

I have known the Biggs family, the owners of Hanrob, for the past 8 years, and I have found them to possess the highest level of service to their clients and they have an excellent reputation within our community. Hanrob has been contracted as the National Training organisation for the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service’s (AQIS) Quarantine Detector Dog Program (QDDP) since February 1995, the Tasmanian Government Detector Dog Program and provided other detector dog services for national and international governments/companies.

I can recommend them to any organisation seeking to use their services.

Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services - November 2004
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I wish to advise that International Dog Academy has been contracted as the National Trainer for the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service’s (AQIS) Quarantine Detector Dog Program (QDDP) since February 1995.

In this time Hanrob has successfully trained and promoted to the field in excess of 80 handlers and approximately 150 dogs. The majority of which are still operating successfully to assist in keeping Australia free from exotic pests and diseases.

The service provided by Hanrob in training ‘Active Response’ and ‘Passive Response’ dogs and the training and assistance they have provided to AQIS’s dog handlers, Technical Supervisors and Program Management has been most professional. Hanrob, over the many years as the QDDP National Training Organisation, has influenced the direction of the Program.
